Bear intoxicated by ’mad honey’ rescued in Turkey

A bear who overindulged on honey was rescued in northwestern Turkey. Local people from the city of Duzce found the hapless brown bear all but passed out on a mountainside.  It is believed the bear had eaten ’mad honey’ – a type of rhododendron honey that can have hallucinogenic effects.
