Hot Butter - Popcorn - ARP 2600 modular synth and mellotron cover by Beeker G

I was 5 years old when the Hot Butter Version of PopCorn came out. I begged my mom to buy me the 45 and literally wore it out. Even at the age of 5, i knew this song was different then anything else, the instruments I knew were not your ordinary instruments. PopCorn is the sole inspiration for me learning how a synth works and how to play from the ripe old age of 5. About a month or so ago, my sister sent me a box of some old family things. In the box is my 45. I cant believe my sister saved it, but she knew how that song effected me. As of this writing, July 21, 2021, sitting here reading the comments and looking at my 49 year old 45. It’s quite an honor to me reading all the nice things everybody has to say. I wanted to keep the song as Time Period correct as possible as I’ve heard many many covers on modern synths and it just does not have that magic that started my musical journey back in 1972. Peace and love to you all and thank you so much for liking my little song.
