Spring Daffs - 1975 | The Archivist Presents | #390

Daffodils are everywhere in the UK right now, a sign that spring has sprung! Here’s a lovely colour newsreel item about the daffodil harvest in 1975. The recent mild weather has made the daffodils flower early in the Scilly Isles. For the Islanders it means hard work to pick the flowers before they bloom and rush them to markets on the mainland.
