Scilly Isles. Eve gathers the daffodil harvest. M/S of a woman bending down to pick daffodils. M/S of group of men and women picking the flowers. “Dainty messages to tell us that Spring is here - “ L/S of two women working together - it is pretty windy. Boxes of daffs are stacked onto a small barrow. This is then taken inside where women tie bundles of flowers together. C/U of women holding bunch of daffodils - posing for the camera. “And thousands of cases of daffodils cross the narrow Channel to Penzance.“ M/S of cases of flowers being unloaded from a boat. Men work together to move the flowers. Shot from the boat as it leaves or approaches a harbour. Story incomplete. Was originally an item in Eve’s Film Review issue number 355.
