MAS-WRESTLING born in YAKUTIA

Mas-wrestling is the national sport of the Sakha people. This is a dynamic and spectacular sport that demonstrates the strength, tactics and strong-willed qualities of a person. The essence of mas-wrestling is to tug a wooden stick between two opponents. It originated in the northern region of Russia - Yakutia. In honor of this, at the main Yakut holiday Ysyakh, a totem pole was installed in the form of a hitching post for horses - Serge Madjyny. This has become a place of power for mas-wrestlers all over the world.
