Saki Kaskas & Rom Di Prisco - Kallista (Callista Long Mix)

Kallista is a mix of the song “Callista“ by Saki Kaskas and Rom Di Prisco, originally from Need For Speed: High Stakes in 1999. This rare mix is found on Rom Di Prisco’s 2004 compilation DVD archive under the “Bitstream Dream“ name. It is a beautiful version of a song I’ve long cherished since its appearance in the Playstation 1 version of High Stakes. While not only appearing in Need for Speed, the short version Callista has recently been featured in EA and Bioware’s Mass Effect 2. Callista can be heard in the Afterlife club on Omega, as well as in Shepard’s personal quarters on the music player. Its reappearance has brought this song back into the limelight, encouraging me to share it. Even though the main point of interest is the music track, I didn’t want to simply upload a song with a simple picture (it feels tacky honestly). So I loaded up the latest Need for Speed Hot Pursuit, and recorded a joyride around Seacrest County.
