Daniele is a resident at Soho Radio where he broadcasts his show ’Isola Paradiso’ and is also the co-founder of Farcorners, a collaboration between himself and Kamar dedicated to unearthing music from Farcorners of the world and evidencing the commonality between us all through culture and art. “Isola Paradiso is a sonic journey through Italian music culture. The tracks included in this mix reflect my adoration for dance-floor jazz, coupled with a passion for introducing electric, uplifting - and often overlooked - Italian sounds to an international audience. Paradiso is the neighbourhood I grew up in, in the beautiful Isola (island) of Sicily; it’s also a reference to the soundtrack composed by Ennio Morricone for the film ‘Cinema Paradiso’ (a true masterpiece shot in Cefalù). Ending this mix with the maestro’s most danceable piece, ‘Dance On’ - recently sampled by Disclosure for their 2024 summer hit ‘She’s Gone, Dance On’ - was a personal highlight.
