Okay, this is it!!! MAVERICKS - Episode 5. My 5th short film from my fan-series. A fictional story about what happened to Boomer Kuwanger after being defeated by X. “Mavericks“ is my own fictional series about the events after Mega Man X. It basically asks the question: What if all the Maverick Bosses survived? Showing their side of the events. ---------------------- This was my biggest project yet: - 9 months of work - almost 5 minutes long - 15 characters - a one minute long fight scene - all in ONE take What I learned making this film: - planning ahead (still struggling) - humanoid animations (darn walk cycles!!!) - using physics for shattering glass, sparks & debris - dealing with fog (still tricky and noisy) - using linked characters - rigging and animating faces - texturing efficiently - timing your scenes - lighting - better file management ---------------------- Special thanks: 💙 Vera 💙 For putting up with all my night shifts and working on this project basically 24/7 during the last month.
