1930s Jackass Crashes Plane Over Cliff Edge. Filmed in 1932 near Nice, France, in an area unpatrolled by Police; French inventor, Monsieur Albert Sovo demonstrates his new invention: a crash proof glider plane. He climbs in to his cardboard contraption and helped by his team, he is pushed off the edge. Not only does his glider fail to take off, it breaks up in to little pieces as it hits the bottom of the cliff. This kind of act done today would most certainly have got him in to Johnny Knoxville’s Jackass team!
