VINTAGE BARBIE RESTORATION! 1967 TWIST N TURN BARBIE! HOW TO RESTORE A VINTAGE BARBIE DOLL!?!

In this restoration we will be revisiting a restoration on a 1967 twist n turn Barbie doll! I have made this video before, however this is a new doll with a lot of issues that the other one didn’t have. Plus my videos keep improving with their quality so it would be fun to revisit it! This doll needed a lot. She was nearly unrecognizable. You couldn’t see her face at all! Dirt and grime just allowed itself to settle onto her beautiful face. It was only after I bathed her, I was able to see exactly what she needed! In this video we wash, we bleach vinyl, we recolor vinyl, and we do hair styling! As well as go over briefly about the twist n turn Barbie and why she is an iconic doll even still today! Although they no longer use the twist n turn patent on their new dolls, she twisted so other dolls could dance! Or something like that. She is a doll I was fortunate to own as a child, and a doll I loved dearly. Here are some links for some chalk pastels that would be great to use for your restoration. Make sure that if you do purchase them, they have a good variety of pinks! The kind I use is masters touch brand. I realize they are not widely available, so I also included some from Amazon that look nice! No affiliate links, just great products: =asc_df_B0922BX4K4/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=693350245432&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=9458406217010259608&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9012421&hvtargid=pla-1240299519799&psc=1&mcid=123024c0637d3511af39d25d5835060f #barbie #barbierestoration #barbiedoll #dollart #dollrestoration #toycollector #restoration #vintagetoys #vintagebarbie
