In a weird way, this game (narratively) feels like a response to people like me that have been scrutinizing this series’ stories. #SonicFrontiers is fresh, it’s tight, it takes its entire history into account without resorting to having to rely on people’s understanding of it to tell a good story. It’s simple enough, it’s complex enough, it’s well-written and I had a blast making this video. It’s bizarre how much doing Sonic EWWs takes me back to how the path I’m currently on started, and getting a great Sonic game after all this time just feels like a proverbial end goal to this journey.
