Hare Krishna!!
Try out this Prabhupada’s Pushpanna rice which has a royal flavour of spices combined with rice to give richness of wonderful ingredients with added cruch of nuts. This pushpanna rice recipe is from The Hare Krishna Vegetarian Cooking. The pastime marks one of the Prabhupada Lila where he appreciated the dish by Gopal Dāsa.

Ingredients:
1 cup basmati rice
15 almonds
150g fried paneer
2 tbsp ghee
10 to 12 cashew nuts
Some raisins
¾th cup grated coconut
3 to 4 tbsp ghee
3 cardomom
1 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp fennel seeds
¼th tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp coriander powder
¼th tsp ground clove
¼th tsp grated nutmeg
½ tsp black pepper powder
¼th tsp cinammon powder
¼th cup sugar
Salt to taste
2 cups water
