Goa Surya Omunity is the second major architectural project by Sylvius, Santa Mandala in Ubud, being the first. It is located at Pantai Bulakan, close to Amed, in the Karangasem Regency of Bali. It’s an organic encompassing structure that blends with the landscape. From here you can watch the sun rise over the Java Sea and set behind Bali’s most sacred volcano, Mt. Agung. Bulakan is well-known for its sacred spring water, Tirta Bulakan.
Goa Surya is the perfect place for artists, and free divers and for holding yoga and meditation retreats. It’s suitable for anyone looking to experience shared living. It has eight unique rooms, an acoustic cave, a restaurant offering fusion Balinese food cooked by Ketut and his wife, Dewi, a Yoga Shala, small stage and free diving facilities. The area is very well known for its underwater splendour, a great place for snorkelling and diving.
