This video is a snapshot of what it was like at the start of the PALEOMAP Project, University of Arlington, in 1993. In the late 1980’s and early 1990’s the first interactive plate tectonic reconstructions and animations were produced using high-speed vector graphic computer workstations built by Evans and Sutherland.
