Iranian ex-president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad registers for June presidential elections
Iran’s former president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is making a comeback bid in the upcoming presidential election.
He’s the first prominent candidate to register for the elections set to take place on June 28th.
Ahmadinejad previously served two four-year terms from 2005 to 2013.
These elections are being held following the helicopter crash that killed President Ebrahim Raisi and eight other people.
