Turkey continues to suffer from extreme weather conditions. Antalya was hit by heavy rains on Saturday. The amount of precipitation was record high. More than 200mm of rain has fallen in the last 24 hours. Authorities have declared an orange alert level. Severe flooding occurred in several areas of the city. This is one of the worst floods in Antalya in recent years. The streets became like rivers. The first floors and basements of buildings were flooded. Water blocked hundreds of cars on the roads. Residents post footage of the natural disaster on social media. There were no reports of casualties. Antalya is a resort and port city in southern Turkey on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.
