Primitive Lemonade for Summer Heat Relief (episode 44)
Summer has arrived at the hut and so have the sourberries. Rhus trilobata is a small bush with glossy green leaves that produces small red berries in early summer. These deep red berries are very sour and eating them helps relieve dry throat and other symptoms of dehydration on hot days. In this video I show how I collect these berries and make a tasty thirst quenching lemonade. I also share a brief update about my garden. This series will be ongoing so be sure to stay tuned for the next video.
