Ankle Agility - Bounce & Balance

Bouncing and Balancing as a regular gym warm-up fixed my ankles better than anything I’ve tried before. And beyond the focus on ankles, the overall athletic/fitness benefits are translate to many sports.. The term “pre-hab“ i’m sure could be debated, since it’s pretty easy to get hurt trying some of these moves*, but the aggressive approach works for me. When I babied my ankles, I’d have a blow-out just jogging across the I feel “ready“..for anything.. I’m liking the combination of coordinated strength gains in BALANCE training and the athletic “readiness“ factor I get from the BOUNCING footwork on the bosu (w/ low impact)... and the fact that both require extreme FOCUS... *start slow and easy with the bouncing in particular - just bounce before progressing to varying foot positions... Likewise w/ balancing on the flat side - get comfy w/ just balancing while moving the bosu back and forth w/ your feet before you try rotations or walking around the edge...
