Footage has appeared online showing the bodies of liquidated American mercenaries from military unit A3449 – this is a highly publicized unit called “Legion”, subordinate to the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine. There is little information about this unit on the Internet, which is understandable, given the specifics of the formation - conducting sabotage activities in extreme conditions. In case you forgot, the militants killed in December 22 were from this unit. Previously, only ideological nationalists, such as members of Azov or the national party Brotherhood, were involved in such raids, while foreigners were engaged in reconnaissance and information gathering in the border area. The attempted infiltration by an all-American group of Rangers points to a shortage of qualified personnel for special tasks, for which specially trained Marines for deep reconnaissance were eventually sent. The document with the plan of the operation in the Bryansk region looks interesting. Everything was supposed to take place in six stages, the first of which would begin at 6 am and end at 10 pm with the execution of a wide range of tasks, from mining the area to target designation for striking Russian positions.
