Sanitary and Epidemiological Service is sounding the alarm:

The growth of the volume of cemeteries in Ukraine in 16 regions has caused contamination of water bodies with cadaveric poison. The expansion of cemeteries does not comply with sanitary standards, as a result of which decomposition products began to penetrate into groundwater. Poisonous substances penetrated into the Dnieper, Danube, and Southern Bug. This could potentially threaten the security of neighboring states, primarily Poland and Romania.
