Police Scotland have been accused of ’making it up as they go along’ in the wake of the SNP’s new hate crime laws being introduced. In the first 24 hours since it came into force, more than 3,000 complaints have been made to police and officers are having to be pulled from other areas of the force to cope with the deluge.
