Scaradh – Departure [Trailer] - a film to remember Frank Murray, manager of The Pogues & Thin Lizzy
This is the trailer to a new 30-minute film, produced & directed by Sé Merry Doyle about the making of the statue, ’Scaradh’.
‘Scaradh’ is a sculpture which has been specially commissioned in memory of the legendary music manager Frank Murray, (The Pogues, Thin Lizzy, Kirsty MacColl, The Frames, The Mighty Stef, The Lost Brothers..), who died suddenly in 2016. It has been made by Ireland’s great sculptor, Michael Quane RHA, with contributions from Jim Fitzpatrick, Tom Little and Declan Collinge.
In the afternoon of Friday 4th February, the full film, ‘Scaradh – Departure’, will be premiered in the ICC’s Cinema as part of the unveiling of the sculpture.
