2/19/2016 - I ran this reaction mostly to observe the initiation process. Definitely not the nicest reaction I’ve run, but the initiation was incredible. I removed the cover plate somewhat early on and left the room. A little less than halfway through, the reaction becomes wildly perturbed just by me walking up to it. The thin film is highly sensitive to air disturbances. Footage is not altered, enhanced, or sped up.
Part of my project on the BZ reaction at Metro State University of Denver, Spring 2016.
