Nicholas Hoare reviews “English Country House Interiors“ by Jeremy Musson

Jeremy Musson meets Country Life. English Country House Interiors affords a rare insider’s view of four centuries’ worth of stately English decor. This elegant tome, which includes full-colour shots of the likes of Hatfield, Wilton, Goodwood and Chatsworth, along with fully descriptive text, depicts both the timelessness and taste of some of the finest homes in Britain. The author, a well known social historian, has produced a splendid cross-sectional view of styles both new and old, ranging from the classic to the contemporary. The latter, which includes the sympathetic work of David Hicks, Nancy Lancaster, John Fowler and David Mlinaric, fits in seamlessly with its predecessors and proves the icing on the cake. Wonderful photography, handsome package. Warmly recommended. PLEASE VISIT US AT Please US AT FOR MORE VIDEO BOOK REVIEWS.
