Jesus Camp: How religious trauma made me suicidal NEW: Part 2 Sharing about my experience at Jesus camp. It was more like military training, the pastors called it, “Jesus Boot Camp.“ Years later, I realized I had been brainwashed and part of a cult. I briefly mentioned my Jesus Boot Camp experience and a few of you wanted to hear that story. This video gets graphic and I want to say again, that I do not support the damaging idea of self-harm. I used self-harm to escape a cult. Being indoctrinated, only being exposed to bad ideas planted quite a few in my head. I honestly saw self-harm as my only way out of the situation I was in.
