This photoshop pattern tutorial uses photoshop filters and the gradient tool to recreate a silk or satin fabric effect to make beautiful photoshop textures.
I created this photoshop pattern with photoshop filters and gradients tutorial specifically for people who are not designers and want the look of silky satin but don’t want to spend hours trying to get the perfect layout of gradients to make it happen. In order to do this I’ve changed the usual process of creating this silky satin texture using the liquify filter to give you much more control over how your silk drapes or falls on the canvas. So much so that you can create this style with much more control. The draped satin texture I created in the free Digital textures pack that accompanies this blog post is a perfect example.
