DISABLED CAR DRIVER - NO SOUND

(22 Nov 1966) MR. WOLFGANG NIEHUES has passed his driving test in a special car adapted for his disability. Mr. Niehues lost both his arms and a leg when he was a child. His adapted car is a Renault R 8 automatic. With his head he operated the knobs for the lights - fixed above the left door. His right shoulder operates the knobs for the screen wipers, the horn and the manual brakes. With his left shoulder he steers the car, while with his right leg he operates the brakes and gas pedal.
