On Latin America Review, we talk to Ramón Méndez Rivas, candidate for the National Assembly of Ecuador for the district representing Ecuadorian migrants in the United States in Canada.
Ramón, a young activist of the Revolución Ciudadana, discusses the first round presidential election results following the August 20th vote, the violence plaguing the country and some of the issued faced by Ecuadorians who are now leaving the South American country in record numbers as a result of six years of neoliberalism.
