The Ba-Gua system of Wang Shujin (1904-1981) from Taiwan is presented, which he also taught in Japan, where he opened a school and taught about 1200 people. The family tree of Ba-Gua Wang Shujin comes from the line of Jang Jaodong (Dong Haichuang - Jan Jaodong - Wang Shujing). Wang Shujing is a master of Ba Gua, Xin Yi, Yi Quan/Da Chen Quan (he is a student of Wang Xiangzai, who created this style) and Tai Ji (Cheng Panlin’s style). He is also a Taoist, and was the leader of the Yi Guan Dao (“Unwavering Way“) Taoist school in Taiwan.
The film demonstrates complexes (taolu), basic work (gunfa), short ligaments, martial techniques (yunfa) and mainly groundwork (this is given in great detail).
