John Popper Harmonica Improv

It was an honor to get to jam with one of my heroes today, John Popper, the lead singer and harmonica player for the legendary band Blues Traveler! Also one of the coolest, wisest, most down to earth and inspiring guys I’ve ever met! My girlfriend Micki surprised me with tickets to his show at Blue Note today which was absolutely amazing! Afterwards I went to get an autograph and he ended up inviting me for his next show’s sound check, gave me one of his harmonicas, and even jammed with me on his smoke break outside! Not only did we jam but he shared a lot of his knowledge an experience with me. It was an amazing experience that I’ll never forget! His music really inspired a lot of my harmonica playing, and it’s awesome to have been able to jam with him for real and talk stories after listening to his music for so long. I’m just really greatful and happy this happened and thought I’d share! Enjoy everybody! He said I was the first harmonica player from Palau he’s met! 🇵
