For this pattern you will need any thickness crochet cotton or yarn, I used Scheepjes Catona cotton colors (110) Black, (106) Snow White, (242) Metal Grey, (115) Hot Red and (074) Mercury. A crochet hook, I used a hook. A darning needle to weave in ends and a pair of scissors. Thread and needle to stitch the lighthouse together.
The finished size will be 18cm wide x 19cm high (7” wide x 7.5” high) for the larger lighthouse, using 8 ply crochet cotton. The size of the lighthouse in Catona will be 12cm wide x 16cm high (” wide x ” high). The medium lighthouse will be 9cm wide x 12cm high (3.5” wide x 4.5” high) when using 4 ply crochet cotton. The small lighthouse will be 8cm wide x 10cm high (3” wide x 4” high) when using 2 ply crochet cotton.
