World War One; home front; England. Lusitania (passenger liner sunk by German U-boat in May 1915) parade and ambulances for Red Cross. Opens with DS of large crowd in park; a man & boy stand on top of car. DS of crowd pushed together; lining street for parade; a cart passes. Then a Lusitania float — actually its a canoe with 7 women in it; all dressed in white and with white flags; above it a banner about the ship; German brutality; etc. Pan on parade route street; line of soldiers in first row. DS looking up the street; crowds still on either side; as ambulances with Red Cross symbol approach. CU same.
