Abu Obaida Mocks Israel; Houthi Official Meets Iranian Security Chief; Putin Vows Belgorod Revenge

Abu Obaida, the spokesperson for Hamas’ Al Qassam Brigades, has mocked the Israeli forces. In his latest statement, Obaida claimed that 16 Israeli soldiers were killed and 71 IDF vehicles were bombed in the past four days. He also added that Hamas attacked the Israeli forces’ field headquarters and command rooms. Meanwhile, Iran’s security chief held a meeting with top Houthi negotiator Mohammad Abdulsalam in Tehran. The two reportedly discussed the ongoing war between Hamas and Israel in Gaza and the tensions in the Red Sea. The Iranian Security Chief reportedly praised the Houthis’ support to Hamas as “courageous.” Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin has vowed to punish Ukraine over the attack in Belgorod. The Russian president said that Russia is capable of carpet bombing any Ukrainian city.
