I’ve been tying and fishing the Mono-Rig for a couple of years now. Since the release of the Ahrex GB Swimbait PR378, which I was involved with designing. I’ve simplified and adapted the previous weedless rigs to use and tie on these excellent new hooks. For the larger 6/0 it’s quite important to consider the weight and balance of the hook for a good swimming action. Though not performed in this version, consider weighting the nose, which is what I do on my dredging patterns when fishing close to the river bed amongst the stags. The tying is just an example of the many patterns you can tie on these hooks. Be creative and enjoy your tying and fishing.
