Originally the group started in 1958 as Brian Poole & The Tremeloes and had a hit in their home country in 1963 with Do you love me? The Tremeloes embarked on half a decade of hits in 1967, starting with Here comes my baby, written by Cat Stevens. More successes followed, of which Silence is Golden (1967) and My little Lady (1968) were the biggest.
