Everything was Life

Dir: Ellie Land / UK / 2004 Everything was Life is an experimental documentary using animation and live action to explore the practice of female genital mutilation. Ellie is currently working on educational film and animation projects with young people of different ages and backgrounds in the Northeast of England. She is particularly interested in pushing the boundaries of animation and documentary in the exploration of challenging subjects.
