Scottish Ballet Health & Fitness Episode 5: Wee Fitness
Designed specifically for parents and small children to do together, this exercise routine from Scottish Ballet is a gentle introduction to ballet and yoga moves for children ages 3-6 years.
Based on the principals of Wee Mice*, Kate Menzies, Scottish Ballet’s Gyrotonics Instructor, leads Soloist Eve Mutso and two wee helpers in a routine that uses the principals of dance combined with imaginative play to help develop co-ordination and balance and encourages families to spend time moving and playing together.
*Wee Mice are Scottish Ballet weekly workshops for children age 3-5 years held at Tramway, Glasgow.
