【“Tenshiki“ Japanese Comedy Rakugo in English by Shinoharu Tatekawa】(英語版「転失気」立川志の春) This one is a Rakugo story “Tenshiki“ in English by Shinoharu Tatekawa, performed during a workshop at LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore. An old monk calls for a doctor when he feels pain in the stomach. The doctor asks him, “do you have Tenshiki?“, to which he replies, “no“, though he actually does not know what Tenshiki means. He was known to be wise, so he could not admit that he didn’t know what it meant. So, the old monk calls his apprentice, Chinnen, and tries to use him to find out what Tenshiki means.
