I was lucky enough to be invited to participate in a living history event as the bride! One of our local museums, the Stevens-Crawford house, was built in 1908 and they hosted a mock wedding for members of the the public and museum goers to see what a 1900’s wedding would have looked like. Luckily we also had a groom handy and my real life husband agreed to play the part, so I got to marry him twice.
