HUGE NEWS: BC Premier Ends All Strata Rental Restrictions | What Will Happen Next? The BC government will be changing legislation in the BC housing act which will eliminate all rental restrictions for strata properties. This includes ending the 19 plus age restrictions. Senior residences however will be excluded. This implementation by our new Premier David Eby was one of his key promises before he became premier. More rentals will come to market, and more condos will go up in price due to investor speculation over the coming months.
