Lillix-What I Like About You (The Romantics/Cover)

Bio By She Rox All Female Bands: Lillix began in Canada in 1997 as Tigerlily, but soon changed the band name to Lillix due to a conflict with another band of the same their local area for several years and building thier fan base soon paid off and the band was signed to a major label in 2001 but with the departure of original drummer Sierra Hills halted any debut release until 2003, drummer Kim Urhahn would join in 2002, and “Falling Uphill“ made it’s debut in 2003, it’s catchy, upbeat commercial friendly rock yielded three singles that made the album Lillix’s most popular to date, largely due to the bands cover of the Romantic’s hit single “What I Like About You“ that found it’s place onto the major motion picture soundtrack of Freaky Friday. Although the debut album charted at #14 on the Japanese Top 40, and the word of mouth success and popularity Lillix reached in the U.S and Canada this never really crossed over to the U.S Top 40.
