En este pasaje, Marek, un monje que busca ser un inquisidor, es capturado por la bruja vampiro Eva. Ella lo tortura física y mentalmente. Pero en vez de odiarla, termina amándola más que a su vida. Cuando el Inquisidor encuentra a Marek, descubre que el monje está enamorado de Eva y decide secuestrarla y abandonar a Marek. Poco después, en su búsqueda de Eva, Nezro y Assaru encuentran a Marek solo y sangrando. Una vez consciente de la situación, Nezro le ofrece al monje que abandone a su Dios y abrace la oscuridad, a fin de salvar su propia vida y la de Eva. The videoclip “Darkness Call“ encapsulates the third chapter in The Witch and the Martyr, which can be found in the Eva’s booklet. In this passage, Marek, a monk who seeks to be an inquisitor, is captured by the vampire witch Eva. She tortures him both physically and mentally. But instead of hating her, Marek ends up loving her more than his own life. When the Inquisitor finds Marek, he discovers that the monk is in love with Eva and decides to abduct her and to forsake Marek. Shortly after, on their quest for Eva, Nezro and Assaru find Marek alone and bleeding himself out. Once aware of the situation, Nezro offers the monk to give up on his God and to embrace darkness, so as to save his own life and Eva’s.
