For TDR, I started recreating all AOD animations for Lara. Altough this is not finished yet, about 1/2 of the TR4 moveset has been replaced with updated animations.
This is an almost full showcase of the current state of the animations.
I’ve remade these animations entirely by hand. I put AOD Lara and TRLE Lara in 3DSMax, and recreated the animations on TRLE Lara by looking at AOD Lara. This means NOTHING was imported at all, the original model was only for reference.
My goal was to make the whole moveset look better, of course, but also make it more responsive than both TR4 and AOD, by adding many additional transitions where needed, and making some animations a little bit faster than they originally were.
Some animations present in the demo (not shown in this video) were made before nakamichi680’s animation exported existed, and also before I really started using 3DS Max.
