Loon. Space Walk 1966? Rocket evaporates, hits Earth’s Electric Dome?

We speak about satellites, satelloons and project loon. And is that a space walk in 1966 on CBS before the Moon Apollo 1969? Is that rocket going into outer space or did it evaporate (desintegrate) once it got high enough in the sky and hit Earth’s electric magnetic dome(toroidal vortex)?
