Donbass: The Flipside of War

This is the story of volunteers who have taken on a terrible and important task – identifying civilians killed by the Ukrainian Army. The volunteers primarily focus on identifying the deceased in large population centers where people are returning to normal life. They work alongside the Ministry of Emergency Situations and sappers to exhume the dead. Many bodies remain under the rubble. The work is incredibly taxing, both physically and mentally.
