Building Linux From Scratch () bootable disk image using just one command
I have my own GNU/Linux distribution called ULFS that means Umvirt Linux From Scratch. Few years ago i used instructions from Linux From Scratch book () to build it manually. Now it ready to become Build Environment for new version ().
Some weeks ago new version of Linux From Scratch book was released. I made decision to create new version of my distribution.
To simplify building process i create tool LFS Auto Builder which helps me to build bootable disk images.
In this video shown how LFS Auto Builder builds bootable image in automatic mode.
Video is long because recorded in live mode to prove that no video editing was performed.
Use cases:
- Distribution creation
- Hardware benchmark
