The video portion is separate from the audio and is purely for aesthetics. Also the stylus used for archiving these recordings is a .7mil not a 1mil so the records are not harmed during playback even though the grooves of these records are .5mil in diameter .7 should be an acceptable size for playback so that all of the frequencies of the recordings will be picked up during playback.
