J. F. Mazas Etude Op. 36 No.2 Practice Video - arranged in a tango style by Fiona Vilnite. Practice one of Mazas’ etudes in a new way :) and perhaps as an alternative to playing with a metronome. This etude is great for developing different bowing techniques, including detaché, martelé, varying dynamics and bow division. It also involves shifting throughout the first five positions and explores simple double and triple-stops. The video includes a moving cursor on the sheet music for easier sight-reading and for identifying and selecting areas for more detailed practice.
