Creating Digital Deconstruction in Houdini / rendering in Redshift

In this tutorial I will cover techniques, that allow you to create an interesting digital deconstruction out of simple models, and render this with Redshift. I will explain some For-Loop systems and VEX, as well as some render techniques. This video based on my HDA, that you can find on my Gumroad here: There you will also find the project file, the animated texture which I mention in the video, more example models and some render improvements. timecodes: 00:00 Intro 00:37 Preparing geo 04:20 For-Loop 14:52 Debugging 16:40 Packing 19:35 VEX: Defining animation attributes 26:00 VEX: Procedural deconstruction 32:18 Render prepare: colorize 35:00 Render prepare: wireframe 39:15 Render prepare: Object Merge 40:03 Materials 42:42 Camera and lighting 45:45 Result
