Taliban Look To India Amid Pak Tension As Islamabad Gets Taste Of Own Medicine | South Asia Diary
On September 30, the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan announced the closure of its Embassy in New Delhi. This comes after a report stated a letter that said there was a lack of cooperation from India. With the displacement of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the embassy of Afghanistan in New Delhi had begun to work as a “stateless mission,” as it did not represent the current rulers of Kabul, that is, the Taliban, with whom India has no diplomatic relationship. However, India and Afghanistan are continuing engagement with each other in a cautious way. Watch this episode of South Asia Diary to understand how the Taliban regime looks to forge ties with India after sidelining Pakistan.
